Farewell

                Farewell
This month I bid farewell to Londontown, make a like a Hewlett Packard Laser Printer and jet to the Netherlands.
Here’s a list that sums up my current apprehensions and excitements surrounding the upcoming move:
1. Using it as an excuse to add to the number of orange items in my wardrobe, an orange hermes birkin is a must, surely?

2. Living in a place known for its friendly people, coming from Sussex and living in London this will be a new experience for me

3. As a coffee lover I’m excited to live amongst the second biggest coffee drinkers. Hopefully the fact that the Dutch are even taller than the genetically modified Americans will mean that the coffee sizes will be Starbucks Venti instead of the Hobbit sized cups in Italy and Spain

4. Getting a day off to celebrate the queen. As a nation that still has a Queen I think Britain should adopt this. The bizarre sight of seeing the Queen's head in every window display could become an annual occurrence

1. No longer being able to claim that 5 ft 3 is medium height. Against the tallest nation in the world I am definitely going to be on the small side.  I may need to start taking height ego boosting trips to China

2. Saying goodbye to one of my happy places; Selfridges. I have done my part to support British economy over this difficult period with regular trips for items that I truly believe will change my life

3. Surreptitiously people watching from my Mayfair apartment, it’s amazing how few people ever look up...
